Stork Club Cocktail Book

Overview

Dark Decadence

What was originally a bar transformed into one of the most popular nightspots in New York. The hospitality, extensive menu, expensive gifts, and more boosted its popularity. The Stork Club prides itself on combining fine dining and a speakeasy experience. In the revival, I wanted to highlight the exceptional details that led to customer return and success.

The redesign of the stork figure focuses on the connection between the head and beak to create eye movement throughout the entire figure. Additionally, alternating the typography balanced the hierarchy of the combination mark.

The Stork Club has a lunch and dinner menu that is interchangeable and held between prongs. The shape of the prongs mimics the shape of a stork beak as a small detail to represent the icon. Additionally, the leather-bound cocktail book is lined with a canvas print of the dining pattern. This book details all the available wines and spirits, including the Stork Club Exclusive wine and specialty cocktails.

The Stork Club has its own house wine, Stork Club Exclusive, featuring four distinct varieties named after Billingsley and his three daughters. These wines are crafted to complement a range of meal and dessert pairings, catering to the diverse tastes of the club’s clientele. The wine bottle design features a cutout pattern showcasing the different colors of the wines. The design element enhances the bottles’ visual appeal and adds a touch of elegance to the overall presentation.
